CONCORD — Police here are investigating a $200,000 burglary at a local cannabis processing facility that involved 11 suspects, authorities say.
The burglary occurred at around 3 a.m. Dec. 14. Police received a report of 11 masked suspects prying open a back door to the ProCan Labs facility on the 5100 block of Port Chicago Highway and making off with dozens of jars of processed THC oil, authorities said.
It was the second time in three months the same facility had been burglarized. On Sept. 25, at around 4 a.m., four burglars entered the same way and stole multiple garbage bags of unprocessed cannabis flowers, according to police. Just a half-hour later, a marijuana cultivation site in Concord was burglarized as well.
No arrests have been made, but the investigation remains active.
