As she accepted her first Moon Person on Sunday night, the 34-year-old Truth Hurts hitmaker sent a message to her haters while referencing Nicki Minaj‘s infamous clap back at Miley Cyrus during the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards.
‘And now, to the b**ches that got something to say about me in the press,’ Lizzo said, before taking a dramatic pause. ‘You know what, I’m not gonna say nothing.’

She continued: ‘They be like, ‘Lizzo, why don’t you clap back?’ Because bitch, I’m winning!’

The Good as Hell artist, 34, has had to deal with body shaming throughout her career.

Megan Thee Stallion quickly came to her friend’s defense sharing several supportive posts in her Instagram stories.

One slide contained a photo of the About Damn Time singer with the comments, ‘Lizzo, you pretty and thick and rich.’
A second slide included video from the artist’s 2 Be Loved (Am I Ready) video with Megan writing, ‘And you can sing realllll good.’
Other remarks on the incendiary comments were fast and furious. Many fans shared their admiration for the Grrrls singer’s ability to sing and dance, in high heels no less.
