Logan Robeson does it all when he’s on the court for Campolindo.
The senior guard returned Friday night after being out sick for the final two games of last week’s Modesto Christian tournament and led Campolindo — ranked 10th by the Bay Area News Group — to a 65-56 victory at home in Moraga over Northgate.
Robeson had 19 points, seven rebounds and five assists as Campolindo won in Diablo Athletic League Foothill Division play after its scheduled league opener, Wednesday against Acalanes, was postponed because of the weather.
Campolindo improved to 9-4 overall and 1-0 in league play.
Northgate fell to 4-10, 0-1.
With Robeson sidelined, Campolindo lost back-to-back games for the first time since 2019.
Coach Steven Dyer said he put his team through a grueling non-league schedule to prepare for league play.
“We know we’re gonna get every team’s best shot in league play based on our success the last four or five years,” Dyer said. “Credit to Northgate. They came out really hard, but our guys really locked in the second half defensively.”
