OAKLAND — A 58-year-old man was in critical condition after he was shot inside his West Oakland home Sunday night, authorities said.
The shooting happened about 10:42 p.m. Sunday in the 900 block of 14th Street.
Authorities said the man got into a dispute with a person he may have known and was shot in the chest. What the dispute was about has not been determined.
The shooter fled before police got to the home.

The shooting was one of at least seven Sunday throughout the day beginning about 4 a.m. Ten people were wounded in the shootings, among them a 22-year-old man fatally shot on 90th Avenue about 3:30 p.m. and a 6-year-old girl, a 52-year-old woman and a 30-year-old man, all in stable condition, who were shot about 1:17 p.m. at a youth football game at Oakland Technical High School.
