SAN JOSE — Police were in the process of evacuating people from Unitek College on Santa Theresa Theresa Boulevard Thursday afternoon, due to a reported bomb threat.
San Jose police sent out a tweet at 3:25 p.m., saying that officers were conducting a sweep of the campus. It’s not immediately known whether classes were in session or how many students, faculty are staff needed to be evacuated. The private college provides programs for people seeking careers in nursing or as medical and dental assistants or pharmacy technicians.
Police expect heavy traffic in the area just south of State Route 85 and ask that people avoid the area as much as possible as they they investigate.
