Police were looking for information after a driver hit and killed a pedestrian in a hit and run incident Sunday night in Daly City.
Authorities were informed of a hit-and-run on San Jose Avenue, near Flournoy Street, just before 9 p.m. Upon arrival, officers found an unconscious elderly man laying in the middle of the street. First responders provided medical aid and transported the man to a local hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
The incident was being investigated as a hit and run, according to the Daly City Police Department. The suspect and vehicle were not identified as off Monday afternoon.
