OAKLAND — Three men were wounded in two shootings that happened two hours apart in different areas of East Oakland, authorities said.
All of the victims were in stable condition. The two shootings are not related, authorities said.
The double shooting happened about 3:59 a.m. Sunday in the 1800 block of Solano Way in the San Antonio district.
One of the men shot is 56 and the other is 26, authorities said. Police did not say if they knew each other.
A motive for the shooting is under investigation but the possibility it was gambling-related has not been ruled out, authorities said.
No arrests have been made.
About 5:54 a.m. a 56-year-old man was wounded in the leg near 90th Avenue and International Boulevard.
Authorities believe the man was hit by a stray bullet fired during a shootout between the occupants of two vehicles. No other injuries were reported.
A motive for the shooting is under investigation. No arrests have been made.
